Raw Water Line Replacement

Our project engineering team developed the engineering deliverables from the client’s basis of design, including 3D model, piping isometrics, civil & structural and instrument & electrical drawings.

CHALLENGE

The Port Harcourt refinery required a detailed engineering package for a project to replace existing underground water utility lines.

SOLUTION

XIDECON CONSULTING AND CONTRACTING LIMITED project engineering team developed the detailed engineering deliverables from the client’s basis of design, including 3D model, piping isometrics, civil and structural and instrument and electrical drawings. This also included detailed calculations for piping stress analysis, tank nozzle loadings, and civil & structural loadings.

OUTCOME

• Project deliverables produced to a high standard, thus avoiding contractor Technical Queries or changes during construction. • Project design met client schedule. • Project communication and understanding maintained with key stakeholders throughout project to ensure success of construction and operating phases of the project.
